Barbara Bragg Meyer is a registered dental hygienist and received her BS degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Dentistry. Active in her profession, Barbara has served on the Missouri Dental Hygienists’ Association Board of Trustees, Past President of the Greater Kansas City Dental Hygienists’ Association, Past President of the Missouri Dental Hygienists’ Association and Alternate Delegate to the American Dental Hygienists’ Association. She has also participated with Give Kids a Smile Program, Identi-kid program with the Missouri Masons, and dental wellness screenings for under-served children.
Barbara has been active within the community serving as President of the Independence Junior Service League, a docent with the Truman Library, Bank Advisory Director, as well as serving on various Boards of Directors of historic sites in Independence, Missouri.
Amy Werner a 2007 graduate of the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Dentistry with a BS degree in Dental Hygiene. Amy is passionate about her profession and makes patient education a priority; helping patients to understand how oral health affects a person’s total body health. In 2007, Amy received recognition from the Academy of Dentistry for Persons with Disabilities for high achievement in dental care for persons with disabilities.
Mindy Meadows, dental assistant and Dr. Meyer's administrative assistant, is a joy in helping patients with appointment scheduling and filing insurance claims. She understands patient needs and is always available to help at a moment’s notice. Our patients know and trust that Mindy will always be there for them!
Dreama Boynton has over 20 years experience as a dental assistant and serves as Dr. Meyer’s personal assistant helping in all areas of the office. When things need to be done, Dreama’s the one! Patients love her sense of humor!
Katy Lane is a recent graduate of Concorde Career College Dental Assisting Program and assists Dr. Meyer with the latest techniques in cosmetics and periodontal surgery. She is genuine and caring with our patients and has been a welcomed addition to our office!
To remain on the cutting edge of our profession, we complete many hours of continuing education each year through the Missouri Dental Association, Missouri Dental Hygienists' Association as well as the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry and the American Dental Hygienists' Association. We are passionate about community service and our staff regularly volunteers with charitable organizations to give back to the community.
